Tanuki: Jade Racoon Clan
" I can never forget the haunting sound: the creaks and grates of the armor and Surfshields of the Jade Tanuki Clan. It was pitch dark as we were underground, my right hand seeking comfort from my papa, and my left to the tunnel wall. We felt so trapped as their march echoed throughout the passage we were taking. The adults say to me that they were much kinder, honorable than the Macaques, but I saw them as all the same - they were for war and not for the peace I wished so desperately."
Artist’s Notes
The Jade Racoon Clan is all about being steady, defensive and tank-y. They also are the most organized of all the gangs in Pangaea.
Their skysurfing boards are multi-functional: They can hop onto it like a surfboard, and while they're riding on it use it as a battering ram and also use it as a shield when held upright.
