Hiroto: The Chonky Tanuki

Hiroto, “The Large”, once feared commander of the Jade Racoon Clan squeezes himself into his battle armor. His name used to strike authority to his kin and fear towards his enemies, but now his name reminds him cruelly of the glory of his past.

Artist’s Notes

The artwork needed to be done. It was inspired by the cuteness of my Yorkie dogs and I tried to capture the roundness and ferocity of an overcompensating, small creature.
